As 2025 comes to a close, the International Network of Health Promotion Foundations (INHPF) reflects on a year shaped by shared learning, strengthened collaboration, and collective action across its global Network. Throughout the year, members and partners worked together to advance health promotion systems and reinforce the value of prevention in diverse country contexts.
Key Highlights from 2025
Advancing Knowledge and Evidence
In 2025, INHPF published the Healthy Eating and Physical Activity Report Cards, offering a comparative overview of policy approaches, system responses, and implementation experiences across Full Members. These publications supported evidence-informed dialogue and contributed to shared learning on prevention and health promotion.
The Network also released new articles and infographics highlighting member experiences, strategies, and lessons learned, further strengthening INHPF’s role as a platform for knowledge exchange.

Collective Advocacy and a Global Voice
INHPF issued joint statements on World No Tobacco Day and on noncommunicable diseases (NCDs) and mental health, reinforcing the importance of prevention, equity, and sustained investment in health promotion systems.
These statements reflected the collective voice of the Network and highlighted shared priorities across countries and regions.

Strengthening Engagement and Collaboration
Throughout the year, INHPF facilitated ongoing engagement and dialogue through:
- A well-attended INHPF Annual Meeting, bringing together colleagues from members and partners for strategic discussion and peer exchange
- Two bilateral meetings and three CEO online meetings among Full members, supporting coordination, alignment, and collaboration across the Network
INHPF also continued to provide support to emerging Health Promotion Foundations, contributing to capacity strengthening and system development in new and evolving contexts.

Growing and Diversifying the Network
In 2025, the INHPF Network expanded with the addition of one new Full Member and five new Associate Members, reflecting growing global recognition of health promotion foundations as effective and sustainable mechanisms for prevention and population health.
