The newly joined Associate Members are:

Under the leadership of Mrs. Suraiya Syed Mohamed, the Health Education Division of the Ministry of Health Malaysia plays a pivotal role in advancing national health literacy and healthy lifestyle initiatives.

With a clear vision to become a center of excellence in health promotion, the Health Education Division is fostering supportive environments and expanding its reach through multisector partnerships.
PROGGA – Knowledge for Progress, Bangladesh

Founded in 2008, PROGGA is a Bangladesh-based nonprofit dedicated to evidence-based public health action and social equity. With a strong foundation in research, advocacy, and communication, PROGGA is leading key efforts to address non-communicable diseases and malnutrition.
Key contributions include:
- Tobacco control and trans fat elimination
- Hypertension and mental health promotion
- Food fortification advocacy (vitamin A & D)
- School and community health interventions
In recent years, PROGGA has worked closely with Campaign for Tobacco-Free Kids (CTFK), Global Health Advocacy Incubator (GHAI), WHO, SEATCA, Johns Hopkins University, and the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation. Notably, it is currently partnering with ThaiHealth and SEATCA to support the development of an independent health promotion foundation in Bangladesh—an initiative that aligns with INHPF’s core objectives.

The Health Promotion Centre of Brunei Darussalam is a government-funded institution with a strong mandate to lead national NCD prevention and health behavior change programs. Guided by its vision “Together toward a healthy nation,” The Health Promotion Centre delivers innovative and inclusive public health strategies.
Strategic priorities include:
- Youth-focused health education
- Obesity prevention and healthy lifestyle campaigns
- Stakeholder collaboration for policy development
- Regional partnerships for greater impact
The Health Promotion Centre operates under national legislation with a sustainable financing model and multi-level governance—ensuring long-term health promotion investment and national commitment.
