Applications are now open for the UHC Journey to Actions Workshop 2026, an international workshop under the theme “Achieving More Health for the Money through Strategic Financial Management.”
Taking place in Bangkok, Thailand, from October 19–22, 2026, the workshop will bring together mid-career to senior-level policymakers and practitioners from Asia and other low- and middle-income countries (LMICs) to exchange experiences and explore practical approaches to advancing Sustainable, Adequate, Fair, and Efficient (S-A-F-E) Universal Health Coverage (UHC) through strategic financial management.
The program will cover emerging UHC challenges and policy choices, health financing and strategic financial management, governance, participation, and accountability, as well as study visits and regional policy dialogue. It will also provide opportunities for peer learning and collaborative discussion.
The organizers will provide the workshop venue, meeting package, study visits, and local transportation during official activities. A limited number of scholarships covering airfare and accommodation are available for selected participants from Asia.
